Silent Kingdom (Bosnia and Herzegowina)

Silent Kingdom was formed in the beginning of 1999 as a side project of Sead Tafro drums and Amir Hadzic guitar. Both of them played together in death metal band Uriel. After a while they decided that it is impossible for S.K. to be just a side project and about at the same time Uriel disbanded. In the summer of 1999 their first demo entitled 'Fields of Dream' was recorded. Due to financial situation this demo casette was printed in very small number of copies. Band started to work on their second album which was entitled 'Visions from Forgotten Land' and in the december of '99 album was recorded at Chemical Sound Studio, Sarajevo. This demo had good public promotion on local TV and radio stations and positive reviews in metal magazines and fanzines. After that the band had a long pause, almost year and a half, because of some personal matters. In the beginning of 2002 S.K. started to work on their third full length demo and in that period they searched for a studio in which they could record this album which was different from the previous two. Work title of this album was 'Bloodless'. During 2002 a MCD 'Whispering Nights and Majestic Winds', was recorded. It contained three instrumental songs and one vocal composition. At the beginning of 2002 S.K. got a new member, bassist Edin Cehovic.
